There are three types of glass washbasins.  The first washbasin sink sits on top of a counter top and is often referred to as a vessel style washbasin sink.  The second style of washbasin, is a glass sink that sits flush with the counter top and is referred to as a drop-in or over mount style glass washbasin sink.
